05: Grow Your Business podcast from WebProjectUK! Broadcasting directly from the digital powerhouse city of Manchester. Today I am going to share with you How To Use Facebook Ads To Grow Your Facebook Restaurant Page.
Welcome to the fifth episode of Grow Your Business podcast brought to you by Manchester based WebProjectUK.com.
Thank you so much for taking time to listen to this podcast! As always I am honoured.
Today I want to talk about How To Use Facebook Ads To Grow Facebook Restaurant Page.
Oh, my god! Do, I see some badly run Facebook Pages especially in the restaurant industry.
Before, I start with the tips on how to grow your Facebook Page using Facebook Ads. I would like to share some important Facebook statistics which I hope will motivate you a little.
Facebook has over 2 billion active users world wide. I specifically say active users, and not just the registered users.
Now, if you run a Manchester based Restaurant this might not mean very much to you. Because you need local customers and not the world wides ones. But don’t worry I have more numbers to share with you, in order to help you understand the power of Facebook marketing.
In Manchester alone you can target around 3.7 million Facebook users with a single Ad! I can go further and split this into gender. For example you can target your restaurant marketing message to 1.8 million females or 1.7 million males.
The targeting options can be narrowed even further but I will have to leave this for another podcast.
So it’s without doubt Facebook holds many of your hungry customers.
The next question is: How Do You Use Facebook Ads to grow your Restaurants Facebook Page?
Before I get into answering this question, let me tell you why you need to be using Facebook Ads to scale your restaurant to the next level.
What I find with most restaurant owners is that they try to attract customers via Facebook but fail to do so. For this reason many will believe Facebook is not worth their time or money. However, this is far from the truth.
In order to get the best out of any social media platform you first need to understand how it works.
Over the last few years Facebook has changed it’s algorithms to favour paid advertisers. For me personally this makes total sense. However, as a result of this move it’s very hard now to reach your Facebook page followers using free methods.
Today 99% of free posts will only get in front of 1% to 2% of your page followers. Therefore, majority will miss out on what you have to say. Hence why you are not getting the desired results!
But you should not give up as this is where Facebook Ads come into play.
By using Facebook ads you have full control of you marketing message and who you sees your marketing message. Also, you should note that majority of your customers spend most of their time on Facebook. You also might be surprised that 65% of adults over the age of 65 now use Facebook.
Another benefit you want to keep in mind is that Facebook is still probably the cheapest form of Advertising online. You might think that SEO is free however, this is far from the truth. With SEO you need to either invest money or time to get the results you desire. Even when you rank for your chosen keywords you still need to keep adjusting constantly to stay in that position.
Therefore, no form of Marketing is truly free.
Facebook advertising is done in real time. Unlike SEO which can take months, weeks and even years to see results. You can adjust your adverts within minutes, and you can see results within hours.
The bottom line is – if you are not using Facebook Ads then you will be left behind. Don’t allow your competitors to take your share of the market. In business you always have to look ahead!
Social Media is around to stay! You can either ignore it and get left behind or embrace it and take advantage of what it has to offer for us as business owners.
That is me done for today..
