[PPC] Pay Per Click Management services from WebProjectUK a Manchester based marketing company
What is Pay Per Click [PPC] and why it’s used?
As the name suggests you pay every time someone clicks on your advert. Google Adwords was not the first one to introduce pay per click marketing. However, Adwords is the most recognised name when it comes to pay per click marketing.
In the recent years Adwords competition has significantly increased. Today we have Facebook, Twitter, Linked, Bing, AdRoll, Youtube, AdSonar, Adblade, Amazon and Ebay as the most popular paid advertising platforms.
One of the main benefits of PPC is that it’s more reliable than search engine optimisation. Therefore, PPC should always be combined with SEO in order to achieve the maximum exposure for your business.
Pay per click can be used to increase brand awareness, repeat customers, reach out to new customers, split testing and much more. It’s the best form of advertising if you are seeking to improve your return on investment [ROI].
However, running PPC marketing campaigns in house can be problematic, time consuming and unprofitable. The main reason behind this is because PPC marketing is constantly changing. Therefore, it’s very hard for your in-house team to keep on top of the ever changing marketing trends.
How can our PPC management service improve your ROI?
We have over 15 years experience in running, managing and executing PPC campaigns. Our knowledge and experience is second to none. We constantly keep updated with the latest PPC trends and in return provide excellent ROI for our clients.
As Google changes its algorithms, you will find yourself competing against moving goal posts. That is why it takes an expert PPC analyst to review every potential factors of your account, looking for ways to improve on the ad copy and the landing page.
If you are new to PPC, you may be surprised to hear that it will cost you less to hire an expert than it will to launch a campaign on your own
Here are 8 reasons why you should use our PPC Management service:
#1 Researching Keywords is not easy
The success of your PPC campaign is determined by detailed keyword research. As PPC experts we spend majority of our time brain storming, researching and executing detailed keyword research. This process never stops as wrong keywords will quickly exhaust your budget and in return you will have very low or negative return on your investment.
We use a range of paid keyword research tools to compare different keyword statistics in order to give you a competitive advantage. You can also get access to such tools however, majority of them cost in the excess of £100+ per month. Even if you do decide to go at it yourself, you will still need to learn to use these tools correctly.
Why work with us?
Creativity is to Think More Efficiently
#2 Incorrect ad copy will result in low conversions
One of our main strengths as PPC experts is our ability to research your competition. We don’t copy but we model and improve on the success of your direct and indirect competition. We understand where to find good ad copy, how to study your competition and develop ads based on what we know already works. This process is not something anyone can achieve as such research is based on experience, knowledge and dedication.
The relevance of your ad copy can dramatically increase your PPC campaign’s click through rate. But most importantly good ad copy will improve your conversion ratio.
Stop, and think – do you really want to write your own ad copy?
Bad copy will always result in lower conversion ratio and wasted marketing budget.
#3 PPC analytics’s should be left to technical experts
All marketing strategies or methods need to start with the same foundations. These foundations consist of tracking sales as well as where the sales are coming from. This information allows you and us to optimise your marketing campaigns for maximum return on investment [ROI].
Such foundations are also applied to our PPC management service. In order to track this information you are required to install tracking codes on your website. Such action requires at least some knowledge of HTML code. If you don’t have any then you better leave this task to us.

#4 Do you really understand how PPC works?
I have no doubt that you understand what PPC means or stands for. This is a common phrase used in digital marketing. However, do you understand the meaning of CPM, CPA and CPC? My guess would be you don’t!
Let me give you even more headache! Do you know the difference between views, hits and impressions? Chances are you might have some idea but not enough to apply the correct strategies to your PPC marketing campaigns. Oh, and I almost forgot ask if you understand how ‘retargeting’ works and how to use it correctly?
The bottom line is you need to understand what these terms mean. Even when you do understand the meaning behind such terms, you still need the knowledge and experience to use them correctly.
This is why our 15 years experience in PPC management is just hard to replace, but we can use this to help you take your business to the next level.
#5. How much do you know about landing pages?
I can guarantee that if I am to enter a random keyword into Google, it will not take me very long, to find a badly optimised landing page. To test this I searched for the first thing that came to my head which was ‘best swimming goggles for triathlon’.
I was presented with few Adwords ads with one of them belonging to swansuk.co.uk. On clicking the ad, I was taken to the landing page titled ‘triathlon and open water goggles’. Further down the page I was presented with the range of goggles however, not a single goggle contained the keyword ‘triathlon’. As a result I and other potential customers would click the back button and return back to Google for further research.
Also, my initial search was more for research purposes on the best swimming goggles for triathlon, rather then intention to purchase. This means even if the landing page contained triathlon goggles, I would have not been ready to make that purchase. So, whichever way you look at this example, SwansUk are wasting their marketing budget needlessly.
The above example demonstrates that less relevant your landing page, the more money you will be spending on conversions. As a PPC expert I understand the principles of landing page design and what attracts consumers to click the purchase button.
As well as understanding landing page principles we also use A/B testing tactic to improve conversions even further. Certain landing pages work better for certain age groups, industries, genders and so on.
#6 Are PPC settings confusing you?
PPC campaigns require adjustment to a number of different settings in order to get the best exposure for your marketing campaigns. For example, if you are targeting local consumers then you need adjust your geographic settings. If you are targeting only females again you need adjust your gender settings.
These are some of the questions you need to ask yourself:
#1 Are you targeting local or national consumers?
#2 Do you need ad groups for each?
#3 Do you allow your ads to be shown on partner networks?
#4 What are you negative keywords?
If you don’t have clear understanding of the above questions, then you will be paying too much for your traffic. Fact! However, without advice from a PPC expert such as myself, you might never find the truth.
#7 Can you keep up with the ever-changing world of PPC marketing?
For me personally, I have to read around 4 hours each day in order to keep on top of the updates, trends, and changes in the marketing world. That is 28 hours each week, 121 hours each month and 1456 hours each year. This means that out of the 365 days in a year, I dedicate 60 days to self-development in order to help my clients better.
If you don’t think you can do all these things, then you can always try our PPC Management service.
#8 Do you really have the time?
In the last point I mentioned about self-development and the time it takes me personally to stay on top of my game. However, even if you do manage this level of self-development, then you will still need to find the time to implement, test and execute the PPC campaign’s and keep optimising week in week out.
As a fellow business owner, I am positive you are very busy with hundreds of other daily tasks.
So, in reality do you really have extra time to mange your own PPC campaigns?
